FREDDY

HIS STORY

Freddy was surrendered to The Gem Project Sanctuary in an emergency. His first year of life was spent confined to a small sand paddock with his mother, with very little space to move, play, or grow. As a result, he was severely underweight, lacking muscle, and unable to walk correctly. He also carried a gut full of sand from his living conditions, which required careful treatment.

PERSONALITY AND PROGRESS

Despite his rough start, Freddy blossomed quickly. His body is getting stronger, and he’s beginning to look and move like the healthy yearling he was always meant to be. He now loves spending time in a big paddock with his equine friends and is full of joy and curiosity. Freddy has also discovered that humans come with treats and cuddles — and he’s fully on board!
