Rex

Hello, my name’s Rex. Before coming to the sanctuary, I was at another shelter where I spent a very long time entirely on my own. That doesn't mean I don't want to be loved; it simply means I grew used to handling things myself and quietly existing in the background.

I am a calm, independent dog who doesn't demand constant attention or fuss. I currently live peacefully in a large pack. Though I am not really a social butterfly who plays with everyone, I am very gentle with puppies, and I have a few select friends in the pack whom I absolutely love to play with.

I am alert, fully house-trained, and I already know my basic obedience commands. I am an athletic boy and can jump very high! (Secure fencing is a must) But once I bond with you as my person, I am exceptionally obedient and loyal.
