Hi there! The name's Stephanie.

I may have the little legs and body of a Dachshund, but believe it or not, we have it on good authority that my mama was a Staffie! (Yes, I'm serious.) I take absolute pride in my heritage, and I have the fabulous, sassy attitude to match.

I was rescued with a nasty head wound, believed to be caused by cruel people when I was out on the street just trying to scavenge for scraps and survive. Despite the cruelty, I have made a full recovery and my absolute adoration of people hasn't changed one bit!

I'm also good with other dogs when we have a proper, structured introduction.In fact, I am currently living with the sanctuary's most mild-mannered dog and running a bit of an educational masterclass for him. You see, I’ve figured out that when he barks at strangers, they walk away, which completely ruins my chances of getting the human attention I crave! So, I have taken it upon myself to actively teach him to tolerate new faces just so I can keep the spotlight where it belongs: on me!
